STEAM Education

Artificial Intelligence AI, Internet of Things IoT, and Robotics are the technologies of the future. We enable the young minds to learn these technologies through an experiential platform. Hands on application of DIY STEAM Education kits, coupled with curated curriculum and apt learning resources are deployed to develop required skills.

Early Learning Solution

Quality pre-primary education sets a strong foundation for learning. It has been proven that children exposed to new-age learning tools in their early years adapt easily to changes around them. This not only inculcates the ‘adaptability’ life-skill in children for life, it also helps them learn effortlessly. Our Early Learning solution is screen-free and encourages fun-based critical thinking solutions.

mTiny

mTiny is an early childhood education robot for children growing up in the digital age. Its unique Tap Pen Controller, as a coding tool, facilitates kids’ kinesthetic experience on tangible programming language. It uses physical blocks and various theme-based story maps to provide engaging simulation.

Therefore, kids can get immediate life-like feedback and generate more creative ideas during their problem-solving processes. Our mTiny toolkit encourages child-initiative learning by offering open- ended play activity packages integrated content areas including
math, music, and art.

Of course, with mTiny, children can be independent learners. But mTiny also provides another opportunity – they can play. multi-player games with friends and explore the world together with people they love. During these processes, children can build bonds with others and develop their social skills.

PRIMARY SCHOOL LEARNING SOLUTION

The main aim of primary education is to develop the social, cognitive, cultural, emotional and physical skills of children aged 6-8 years. We supplement regular school education by introducing AI and IoT tools and help develop above skills in an engaging way.

NEURON

Our Neuron is a programmable electronic modules platform that is specially designed for STEAM. It includes 30 different modules, like LED display, camera, ultrasonic sensor, motor, etc. With these modules, children are able to create their own gadgets, tools and toys. What they need to do is simply arranging the modules in the way they want. Also, the flow-based programming software frees children from complicated codes and still enables them to bring their blocks to life.

In this way, the blocks can be both fun and useful.

Neuron uses NEURON app to introduce flow-based programming and can alsowork with mBlock 5 ( inspired by Scratch 3.0), so kids are able to code Neuron using the coding blocks. NEURON supports AI technologies, like image recognition, speech recognition and text recognition. It empowers children to understand how complex machines work, create prototypes and embrace technology easily.

CODEY ROCKY

Codey Rocky combines easy-to-use robotics hardware with block-based programming software. It guarantees that beginners can start coding within minutes by dragging and dropping blocks in mBlock. It also supports AI and IoT functionalities, which enables children to explore advanced technologies.

In this way, the blocks can be both fun and useful.

Codey Rocky uses the mBlock app to add Internet of Things-functionality. Detect the soil humidity, control home appliances, get weather reports, and much more! mBlock supports AI-functionality including voice recognition, face recognition, and deep learning. With Codey Rocky, children have the easiest way to master fundamental technologies of the 21st century.

  •  Charming emotions for fun coding
  • Easy transition from graphical programming to Python programming

MIDDLE SCHOOL LEARNING SOLUTION

mBOT

mBot is an entry-level educational robot for STEAM education and targeting students above ages 8.

mBot contains many electronic modules such as a LED matrix, sensors, an IR transmitter, an IR receiver. It has the companion programming software mBlock(for PC/mobile) and supports the app for 3D construction.

The mechanical body of the mBot is compatible with most Lego™ parts, while the electronic sections are based on the Arduino open-source system, setting no limits to students’ creativity.

mBot has multiple add-on packs that enhance the learning experience with structural, electronic coding and design functions.

mBOT uses mBlock app and children are introduced to Arduino C programming with one click, allowing teachers to move from beginning to advanced level of teaching without the need to change to other software.

Children can use the robots in international robotics events, like Make X.

SECONDARY SCHOOL LEARNING SOLUTION

mBOT RANGER

mBot Ranger is our intermediate robotics kit designed for STEAM educators and robotics enthusiast. It has three configurations that help children aged 10+ years explore the mechanical engineering and design of Robotics. When paired with mBlock 5, it provides a visual programming experience for all users.

ULTIMATE 2.0

Ultimate 2.0 has an impressive parts library; boasting more than 550 mechanical and electronic items, it provides a comprehensive range of features and includes everything you need for realizing your ideas. To give you a head start and allow you to learn the ropes of applied electronics and mechanical principles, 10 practical and interesting forms of construction are provided, including the Camera Dolly and Robotic Bartender. The possibilities for maker combinations is infinite, you can truly let your imagination loose

MAKERSPACE/DESIGN LAB/STEAM LAB

STEAM Labs are designated 1500 sqft. spaces, with state of the art facilities, set aside for creating something new, a space for innovating and providing solutions for problems faced by individuals and communities.
On a broader canvas, the objective is to help instil a ‘maker’ spirit in young people, by providing opportunities for working outside the classroom, using hands-on experimentation and collaboration with the latest technology, and designing it to provide much needed solutions.

The Makerspace/Design lab requires a certain Operating Environment. We suggest arranging and providing for the following things to get optimum results from the STEAM Lab:

Physical space allocation with audio and video equipment for showcasing videos and PowerPoint* presentations

Appropriate seating arrangement for all participants

Laptop/desktop for students with Internet access

Basic stationery – pens, pencils, markers, post-it notes, and necessary equipment

Print outs of all the activities

Human resource allocation for the Lab

Focused and feasible time table

MakerSpace Robotics Solution

Considering students & cognitive development, we build three kits in different levels: Beginners, Intermediate, and Advanced.

Neuron electronic blocks adopt pogo pins, so it’s easy to connect them. Neuron is included in the Kit for Elementary Makers ONLY.

The Kit for Intermediate Makers includes Slide Beams. This kind of beams facilitates building and installation, and has a higher structural strength. They allow students to further explore high- strength mechanical structures. Chain transmission parts are also included. These parts transmit great mechanical power, and students can use them to build lifting mechanisms.

The Kit for Advanced Makers contains a lot of structural parts and motors and actuators, with which students can make stronger and more complex structures. What has to be mentioned is our pneumatic parts, which can be used to build high-torque mechanisms for lifting heavy objects or shooting balls

Based on schools’ needs, we can increase the quantity of certain boxes. Also, different kits come with curriculums in different levels.
